New announcements of DAAD scholarship programmes
The programmes are as follows:
- Research Grants – Short Term Grants
Doctoral students can apply for a research fellowship at a university or a non-university research institute in Germany. Funding is provided for one month up to a maximum of six months.
- Research stays
Doctoral researchers or academics who are working at a university or research institute in their home country can apply for a research stay in Germany lasting a maximum of three months.
- Re-invitations for alumni
Former DAAD scholarship holders who were funded for more than six months can apply for a three-month research or working project in Germany.

The application deadline is expected to be the 31st January 2023. Earliest start of funding is August 2023.
