About Us

© DAAD Tunis

Since the DAAD’s Maghreb branch foundation in 2012 with a core team consisting of a director and a local part-time employee, the number of staff and subject areas has increased strongly. Today, five employees are there to inform you about studies and research options in Germany and the Maghreb, compile data and facts as a basis for future cooperations and organise networking and further education activities. The close contacts to the Tunisian higher education landscape and the higher education ministry are a key part of this. In personal consultations and online webinars, visitors have the opportunity to ask questions, obtain information material and find out more about the extensive offerings of the DAAD.

DAAD Regional Office Tunis

The Regional Office Tunis is also responsible for the countries Libya, Morocco and Algeria. We offer guidance on study and research options in Germany, on scholarship options and the DAAD’s other cooperation programmes.
