DAAD Lecturers in Tunisia

DAAD Lecturers are contractually employed at foreign higher education institutions.
They teach, advise and are responsible for the following tasks:
- Teaching German as a foreign language and the contents of the relevant academic subject
- General guidance on study options in Germany, special guidance for scholarship applicants
- In addition to their teaching activities, the Lecturers are also responsible for issues of cultural policy.
In Tunisia, the DAAD currently sponsors the following lectureships and teaching appointments:

DAAD room (on the ground floor of the Arabic Library building)
Faculté des Lettres, des Arts et des Humanités de la Manouba
Campus Universitaire de la Manouba – 2010 Manouba
The consultation sessions are held every Monday from 1pm to 2pm and Tuesday from 1pm to 1.30pm.

The DAAD also supports a long-term lectureship in classical archaeology at the Université de Tunis, Faculté 9 Avril that is held by Dr. Arne Thomsen.
