The Shaping Futures Academy is hosted by the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

What is supported? The scholarship covers travel costs to and from Germany and Ghana, including a monthly living allowance, health, accident and personal liability insurance, as well as a grant to meet the technical requirements of the online phase.

Structure of the program: The academy takes place between April and November 2024, and is divided into five continuous learning blocks, including two in-person phases in Bonn, Germany and Accra, Ghana.

 Who can apply? Professionals from participating African (Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Togo and Zambia) and European (EU, EEA and UK) countries
