Call for Application: DKA online training modules
The DAAD Regional Office Tunis offers on a regular base training modules in cooperation with the DAAD Kairo Akademie (DKA).
The following two modules are now available:
- Strategic Planning as Core to Strategic Management
This module enables participants to:
- Gain a solid understanding of Strategic Management and its components.
- Appreciate the purpose and impact of Strategic Planning.
- Differentiate between Strategic and Operational Planning.
- Implement the steps of Strategic Planning in their institutional framework.

- Fundraising Skills and Best Practices
This module enables participants to:
- Understand the key principles and motives of fundraising in academic and research contexts.
- Identify and diversify potential funding sources relevant to their institutional and research needs.
- Develop a structured and persuasive fundraising plan based on a clear case statement.
- Apply effective communication and engagement strategies to build and maintain relationships with funders
When? November 19th, 2025.
Target group: Master Students and PhD Candidates from Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Morocco

Both trainings will be held online and entirely in English, and a good command of English (minimum B2 level) is essential for participation.
The selection of participants is based on the quality of the applications submitted.
