A successful start to the very first edition of the
#German_Science_Week in Tunisia 🇹🇳 !
As part of the programme, the DAAD Regional Office in Tunis organized two specialized training workshops funded by the German Federal Foreign Office:
- “Proposal Writing”
- “Managing Innovation in Academia”
More than 50 researchers and teaching staff from universities across Tunisia — from Bizerte, Tunis, and Nabeul to Sousse, Sfax, and Medenine — came together to exchange experiences, strengthen their academic skills, and discuss innovation and international research cooperation.
The workshops were organized in cooperation with the
#DAAD_Kairo_Akademie and led by Prof. Dr. Galal Hassan Galal Edeen, who traveled from Egypt to conduct these highly interactive sessions.
Participants particularly appreciated the practical exchange, the opportunity for networking, and the strong relevance of the topics for their own teaching and research environments.
They were also encouraged to invite their students and colleagues to attend the very first
#Research_Fair on 20 May 2026 at the Golden Tulip El Mechtel Hotel in Tunis — an opportunity to discover research and funding opportunities in Germany and connect with German and Tunisian partner institutions.
